We are delighted to report that Jade Shaw Wall 5M has secured a very competitive and prestigious Arkwright Scholarship.
Jade has done superbly to gain the award in a field this year of 803 applicants. Of these applicants 191 were female. The scholarship programme interviewed 441 candidates and made just 250 awards.

They state that the “future prosperity of this country is dependent upon encouraging the most talented of our young people to consider a career in the field of design and engineering and lead ultimately to their becoming the much needed young engineers of the future.”
Jade has done superbly to win the award and we look forward to seeing her career in Design and Technology develop.
