ISFA Honours

A sunny Sunday afternoon saw the annual ISFA England v Scotland representative match played at The City Ground, home of Nottingham Forest FC. It proved to be a big day for three Repton footballers who had managed to play their way into the England team. 1st XI captain Sam Graham (S) was joined by Josh Golding (P) and goalkeeper Oli West (P) as England ran out 4-1 winners in front of a healthy crowd that included David Elleray, Nottingham Forest Chairman Nigel Doughty and Manager Billy Davies. This caps a fine year for the boys who were key members of the 1st XI side that won 20 out of their 27 games this season as well as lifting the a2om ISFA Sixes title and reaching the Quarter Final of the Boodles ISFA Cup.

Master i/c Football Matt Carrington, who also is part of the ISFA U18 coaching team, said “it was a wonderful afternoon and the boys acquitted themselves extremely well. Although Oli has another year left at Repton, it was a fitting way for both Sam and Josh to finish their schoolboy football careers”
