Seven Reptonians will be playing international hockey during the summer break. Sophie Hawkins(U6F) will be joining Jo Leigh (L6G) for an England U18 Test Series against Germany in July followed by a Home Nations Tournament in Cork. Playing against them in Cork, for the Welsh U18 team, will be Rhiannon Rogers (L6G) and Wiz Mumby (L6A). Shona McCallin (U6A) has been selected for the U21 team in matches versus Spain and Germany and is also hoping to be selected for the European U21 Championships in Lille.
Representing the boys, Will Byas (U6S) is selected for the England U18 team in matches against Germany and the Home Nations Tournament and finally Michael Guest (L6O) is currently shortlisted for the Brazil Men’s team at the indoor Pan-American Games in Venezuela and pre-training camp in Buenos Aires.
In addition recent ORs Susie Gilbert (F’02), Georgie Twigg (F’03) and Charlotte Craddock (A’04), who are all training in the GB Olympic squad, have a busy summer ahead on senior international duty with the England Women’s team.
