As part of the popular Sixth Form Lecture Series this Friday, 6th November, explorer Benedict Allen will be visiting the School. As well as his lecture for pupils an evening lecture at 7.15pm in the Beldam Hall is open to all and we look forward to an expected strong attendance.
Benedict Allen will share his experiences (depicted in his BBC TV series) of some of the harshest environments on the planet - whether with reluctant camels in the Gobi desert or with dogs through Siberia in the worst winter for centuries when, despite frostbite and a diet of raw walrus, he won sufficient trust from his furry colleagues to risk travelling alone with them through the Arctic.
Limited free entry tickets can be collected from the Lodge, or please call 01283 559200 for enquiries.
