The Junior and Senior Abbey football teams won their House football tournaments on Thursday, to give us a 'clean sweep' for the second year in a row.
From the photographs you can see that the girls had a great time. There was lots of opportunity for friendly banter between the teams.
The mid week football sessions during the winter (after prep in the gym - with lots of music and dancing), seemed to have paid off!
In the Senior team, established football 1st teamers Abby Smale and Hetty Alton were ably supported by the whole team. There were excellent performances from players such as Freidi Juncker and Bex Brown. Feidi scored a hat-trick in the final match against Field House.
Junior Team Captain Lucy Setterington scored two penalties in the final match against Field. Nodira Ashurova, Alex Cartlidge and Kate Benn stood out in another whole-hearted team performance.
