House Supper was a lovely cosy event tinged with sadness as Mr Cooke was leaving. O Block wrote their own poem and presented Mr and Mrs Cooke with gifts whilst the L6 had prepared the Hakka with their own special Christmas twist. Mr Cooke was overwhelmed and more than a few eyes filled with tears!
B Block sang Santa Claus is coming to town beautifully setting the Christmas spirit for the evening. Lots of laughter and chatter rang through the room as we were fed a sumptous Christmas meal.
Some of the girls could not resist the temptation of the chocolate oranges and consumed them during the meal! Speeches were given, songs sung and thanks given.
Jade rounded up the girls staying the night for a movie in top common room and it seems they never made it back to their own beds having a bit of a slumber party on the sofas.
A VERY HAPPY CHRISTMAS TO ALL THE GARDEN GIRLS AND THEIR FAMILIES!!!!
