House Squash Finalists!

Last weekend, for the first time, Mitre went into the House Squash finals against the Abbey.

B Blocker Laura Carver did superbly to win both her matches and the girls had a good win against the Field on their way to the finals. There was a tense final between the final two Houses in which Abbey just went ahead, Mitre losing in the final crucial game by just 4 points.

We are very grateful to all the girls who represented the House on this occasion – especially to Eva Lo U6M and Jenny Korotkova U6M, and to Laura Carver 3M who used their time on Sunday afternoon to compete for the House. Impressively this was the first time Jenny had played the game and she more than held her own against the other teams.
