This Sunday sees the first of the House Music competitions take place . Parents and friends of Repton are warmly invited to the Beldam Hall for what promises to be a cornucopia of music.
Adjudicator for the afternoon is Peter Gritton, the Direcor of Music at St Paul's School, London. Besides becoming known as a leading figure in choral publications Peter has also sung with The Sixteen, the Gabrieli Consort, I Fagiolini and toured the world with the close harmony group The Light Blues. As an accompanist he has played for Ian Partridge. In 2005 he was asked by the BBC to write a football cantata called Pitch Perfect which involved 1000 London school children, the BBC Singers and BBC Concert Orchestra. Peter conducted the premiere himself at the Wembley Conference Centre. In his youth he was a chorister at Salisbury Cathedral, principal horn of the National Youth Orchestra, choral scholar at Clare College, Cambridge.

2:30pm Junior and Senior Woodwind
4:00pm Junior and Senior Brass
5:00pm Junior and Senior Kit, Electric and Bass Guitar
7:30pm Junior and Senior Piano
