School House's Senior House Hockey team carried off the major prize on the penultimate day of the Lent term somewhat against the odds, and helped to compensate for the defeat last term on penalties in the football competition final. The progress of the competition was very similar to that of the football with a penalty shoot-out victory over the unlucky New House in the semi-final followed by a final against Priory. Despite a fine Will Byas goal in the first half School House trailed 2-1 in the second half and looked unlikely winners, but an inspired spell produced goals from Jon Ackerley,Sean Smale and Sam Graham to deliver a 4-2 victory. As well as the goalscorers the entire team played well and particular mention should be made of goalkeeper, Falk Wiemer, who was outstanding.
