Repton "folklore" says that the Head Boy has certain rights that are not enjoyed by any other member of the School. These include being allowed to ride into School on horseback. Unfortunately the School archivist cannot find any written record of this but it is one of those things that many people in School are aware of.
Current Head Boy, Frank Flight (O), exercised this right as part of the annual Wear What You Dare event. He also has the right to graze his goats on the School paddock, smoke a pipe beside the Arch and grow a beard, but he says he currently has no plans to do any of these!

Characters from Harry Potter, Where’s Wally? and several nuns were among others making an appearance in the School. Even staff joined in the fundraising event. Head of Ethical and Religious Studies, Dan Clark, dressed as a monk, Business Studies teacher, Tom Naylor, donned a banana outfit and John Plowright, Master of the Scholars and History teacher became a punk rocker!
