H4H Boost

The Lent Charity, Help for Heroes, has got off to a tremendous start. Despite heavy snow and freezing temperatures, The Garden Cabaret dinner, postponed from the Michaelmas term, raised over £3,000 and this will go to the charity.

In addition, for this term only, H4H wristbands are now being sold in The Grubber. By buying one of these, pupils are able to support the charity financially and also show their support of their valuable work. Deputy Headmistress, Sarah Tennant added, ‘There is really strong support throughout the Repton community for H4H and the Headmaster and I were keen to support the pupils’ request that they be allowed to wear H4H wristbands with their school uniform – normally strictly against the rules!  But I’m telling them to make the most of it – it’s for this term only.’

Other fundraising activities, including Valentine Roses, Rock It, a Cake Sale and Karaoke in The Grubber, will be taking place after half-term and all proceeds will be donated to the Help for Heroes charity.
