Guitar Heroes!

School House Upper Sixth Formers Blair Dunlop and Nick Martin were both celebrating success in this year's guitar competitions after the weekend's annual music competitions. For the second year running Blair took first place in the electric guitar category with his performance of 'Drifting' by Andy McKee whilst Nick received a 'highly commended' nomination in the bass guitar section with his playing of Victor Lopez's 'Night Walk'. Congratulations to both boys and to the other School House boys who battled their way to finals - Sam Yung (flute), Tom Main ('highly commended' in the Junior Brass section) and Joe Sorrell (kit drums).
