Golf is now in full swing (!) with boys and girls visiting a number of courses in the area.

Last week’s match against the Old Reptonians was held at the prestigious Little Aston Golf Club and proved to be a memorable occasion played under blue skies, while this week saw a novelty ‘Ian Poulter’ day which required the boys and girls to don suitably garish attire - Toby Griffiths was judged to be wearing the most striking outfit.

Competitions held at Horsley Lodge, Morley Hayes, Branston and Broughton Heath have witnessed improved golf from those such as Jack Keen, Matt Jones, Toby Griffiths, Lawrence Webster and Josh Benn who have benefitted from the golf coaching programme throughout the winter months.

Josh even managed to hit a hole-in-one last week, at the very challenging 191 yard 13th hole at Broughton Heath Golf Club.
Forthcoming events include the House Golf competition, a match against the Junior Section of Kedleston GC and a team of three will compete in June at the Independent Schools Golf Championships held at The Shire London - see the ISGA website for more details.
