This was a wonderful way for the the Under 16’s to complete their term as purely an Under 16 unit. They will of course go on to play senior matches but the pressure lessens as exams kick in! The play today was fabulous! Mrs Beeston would have been proud of the considerable effort all the girls made to actually force their way into net, and we certainly reaped the rewards of picking off points at the net. There were some very tight matches, but as we have come to expect from this exceptional team, we are always confident under pressure as we keep our heads so well when the going gets tough! Byas in particular was the steady eddy of the team and was not afraid to go for her shots, even at 5-4 and serving. Overall, a great match to watch…well done girls on some great tennis. NMO
