Match Report:
It started out as a nice sunny Saturday afternoon and then the heavens opened and caused the girls to have to play in some very difficult conditions. However, Repton started off strong and passed to ball around, looking to create chances. Four goals were scored in the first half; penalty corners started to work after various sessions trying to get the set pieces to work, the girls were striking to ball at the top of the circle with Joey scoring a lovely goal from here. Caitlin scored two in this half with Pip scoring the fourth.
The girls continued to play with guts and determination in the second half, they have grown in confidence and really worked well as a team, passing the ball round the back and supporting each other all over the pitch. Ellie scored three goals in this half, finally mastering the sweep from the post and Joey scored another fantastic goal. The final score was 8-0. This was a superb team performance, the girls gave it everything and the result proves this. Man (women) of the match goes to Joey. Well done to everyone.
