Match Report: This was a tight match against strong opposition, and the final games continued long after the other school teams had finished as the U15As fought valiantly until the end. The first pair (Avisha and Rosie) played some exceptional tennis, winning all three of their matches. Their most tricky match was against Rugby's first pair, but even that game they won 6-4 fairly quickly without too much challenge. Their teamwork and communication was good throughout, with strong play from both girls. The second pair (Ellie and Lowri) had a more tricky time, and lost all of their games (3-6, 5-6, 2-6). There was some good serving from both players but their focus for next match should be to develop their ground shots. The third pair (Kate and Nodira) lost two and won one (3-6, 6-4, 4-6). These were keenly contested games and it was very pleasing to see that the girls continued fighting right up until the last ball: winning the final match after losing two other matches, not to mention the long-delayed start,  is quite a challenge. This positive attitude was reflected by all three pairs, even in games when the score went against them, and I hope that they continue to build on their strengths to win the next match.
