Venue:
Away, depart 3.00pm
Team:
Higgins (C), Whitten, Atkin, Brooks, Wallaston, Baker, Cheung, Wright, Otsuka, Chan, Walsh (GK)
Result:
L 5-0
Match Report:
The QUEGS side was a very strong one and it is to the girls' credit that they remained motivated and determined throughout the match. Whitten and Higgins worked extremely hard in the circle against an aggressive attack. Equally, Otsuka worked hard to utilise the wing effectively, whilst Walsh also deserves recognition for some impressive saves. The second half saw Repton increasing the accuracy of their passes and they should be proud of the grit and determination demonstrated. The Repton side now need to be hungrier for the ball, ensuring that they are following up their tackles and taking free hits as quickly as possible. Despite the disappointing result, this was an extremely positive learning experience and I was proud of the spirit shown by the girls on the pitch. VLK
