Result: Lost 0-6

Match Report:

Our match against Rolls Royce Ladies Hockey Club started off well in the first half, with the mids attacking the ball and getting a few close shots on goal. However Repton did not manage to stop a first half goal and although Tori Leavesley made some terrific saves, the score at half time was 1-0 against us.

We went into the second half fighting and were determined to score a goal but unluckily for us Rolls Royce also improved their game. Although we used the wings more, with players like Charlotte Taylor playing a great game and the defence playing strongly as a team with mids including Sophie Moorcroft and Dani Gadsby retreating to help, this was not enough to prevent the goals scored against us.

Overall the score of 6-0 against Repton did not justly represent the effort and performance of the Repton side, although it still leaves areas which could be improved upon.
