Girls' 4th XI v Abbotts Bromley

This was the 4th XI’s first match of the season and considering that we were up against Abbotts Bromley’s 1stXI we played brilliantly. The final score was to Abbotts Bromley 2-0 but this does not represent the level of energy and effort put in by all the players involved. There were some really strong performances by Dani Gadsby, Sophie Griffiths and Jess Stewart in attack whose teamwork was brilliant.

The midfield also played an outstanding match with Louisa as center-mid and they put in 100% effort throughout the game. The defence probably deserve the most credit as the match tested them the most but their determination provided Repton with a secure back line led by Emily Boyce and Hannah Scheel. We learnt some key lessons from this match which we hope to put into practice in our future games.
