Match Report: This was unquestionably our best game of the season. The team played fantastically together and impressive skill was demonstrated by all players. The first goal came very early in the game by Sophie Griffiths as a result of an astounding cross from Sarah Stewart. Minutes later another goal game was scored by Sophie Griffths after a brilliant drive down the left hand side and a great hit into goal. This early lead undeniably left Repton full of confidence and the goals just kept coming. Lois Haynes and Arabella Cooling played well together resulting in our third goal - a strike made by Arabella from the top of the D. However, Trent caught us off guard and managed to score what seemed a messy goal very soon after. After an encouraging team talk at half term Repton wanted even more goals which defiantly influenced play . A key drive down the left hand side and strike from the corner of the D by Sophie Willis put the score at 4-1. Lydia Galbraith, back after injury played exceptionally well and managed to increase our win by scoring two late goals. The whole team looked confident on the pitch and this was without a doubt the best we have played this year. Sophie Willis/LHB
