Girls' 3rd XI v Rolls Royce 1st XI

Date: Monday 7th December

Venue:  6.30 p.m. start on waterbased.  Meet at 6.00 p.m. please.

Team:  S Willis, N Chadwick, S Stewart, S Young, L Haynes, C Mok, V Mistry, A Etherington, A O'Brien, L Chatterton.

Result:   Lost 6-1

Match Report:   This game was not the best for the Repton side, everyone was tired and it seemed that Repton had talked themselves into a loss. Rolls Royce were both strong and skillfull and not an equal matching for our 3rd XI. However, the usual team spirit prevailed and everyone enjoyed the match, despite some aggressive play from the Rolls Royce team. At half time Repton was 4-0 down.  In the second half we managed to secure our first goal, a brilliant team effort by Amelia Etherington and Amy O’Brien; it was quite a feat for us and one which couldn’t have made the Repton 3rd XI happier. Although this was a disappointing match, the season has overall been one of success. Thanks must inevitably go to Mrs Bordoli and the whole team . Good Luck next year!
