Match Report:
This was an excellent match and the score definitely reflected the game. Both sides were strong with each team demonstrating some very good teamwork and scoring some impressive goals. Repton started with the bit between its teeth and Sophie Willis scored the first goal within the first few minutes. Following this, Repton mostly kept possession of the ball and the defenders did a very good job of defending; some good blocks were made by Sarah Stewart in midfield and Alice Whitehead proved to be a key player also in the middle. A good goal from Oundle brought the score to 1-1, but Repton were able to maintain their one goal by half time, after a stomping second goal was scored by Sophie Willis from a short corner. However, during the second half Repton began to tire and Oundle scored another goal making the final score 2-2. Well done to everyone for their excellent team work and team spirit.
