Match Report:

Byas/Renshaw: 6-4, 6-3, 6-3

Celerier/ Setterington: 6-5, 5-6, 5-6

E Gray, Radeva: 6-3, 4-6, 3-6

As the score line suggests this was an incredibly tight match and it went right down to the final rubber. The girls were focused and really concentrating on every point they played although at times nerves got the better of us and we stopped attacking the ball. That said, there was also some fantastic tennis and in particular Gray and Radeva, and Byas and Renshaw really stuck to their guns when they knew they needed to win their matches to win the games. As ever, the girls were a pleasure to watch and set a fine example to all as to how a match should be played in the true spirit of the game. NMO
