Report:  After winning the National Indoor Title attentions are now focused on doing the double.   Belper kindly allowed Repton to have a full team rather than sharing the girls that play for both and I hope that the run-out was as useful for Belper as it was for Repton.   Unfortunately, Annabelle Church injured herself in the warm-up and despite initially soldiering on, when she could not move to save the first shot on goal she decided to call it a night.  Repton playing with eleven outfield players, rather than ten and a goalkeeper, changed the complexion of the game.  Having the extra player in midfield made a huge difference and restricted Belper's entries in to the circle.

Jo Leigh and Shona McCallin were a fantastic midfield pairing, closing down their opposite numbers spaces and linking well when in possession and Megan Byas looked more than deserving of her recent England Under 16 call up.  The team performance was thankfully nor far behind where the girls left off after last term which bodes well for the tour to the Netherlands on Monday.
