Racket sports seem to be our forte, having won the House Squash Cup, the Garden Badminton team then took away the Badminton Cup with skill and excellent footwork!
Team Captain Shivani led the way with her super smashes and Kadi seemed to find little difficulty adapting to the different techniques used in Badminton (she is our no.1 Tennis Player) as long as she could still be utterly competitive and go for every single point. Georgia (Netball player supreme) used her athleticism and tactical thinking to outplay the opposition and Ceci Mok (our only real Badminton player) not only played with precision but with correct technique and grace on the court, leading the way for the rest of the team. Our two younger players, Catherine Chiu and Avisha Patel won some very tense games, keeping their cool and communicating well as a pair, playing a full part in an exciting and fun tournament. The final against Abbey saw some excellent matches with fast, aggressive rallies!
So Congratulations to the whole team and let's keep up this winning spree. Do we see the Tennis Cup heading our way??!!Thank you to Mr Attwood for organising such a successful and fun afternoon!
