Garden party

 The girls in the Garden have not only won lots of events this term (Football, tennis..) but have been working so incredibly hard that I decided they needed a reward and a chance to let off steam before the start of the exams on Monday. O Block had worked from 1pm- 6pm and the 6th form barely come out of their rooms any more, except to go to the library! So at 9pm we had DJ Jammin' put on some tunes to dance all the stress away. The 6th form and O block in particular used it as a work out session and Flashdance comes to mind! Seeing the whole house, staff included doing the Macarena was hilarious (I must practise for the next one!) Pizzas arrived to feed the hungry and Matron had spent the afternoon with girls preparing strawberries dipped in chocolate; laser lights and bubbles added to the already charged atmosphere!

A fabulous evening - one to remember if not for Jade conducting Reach for the Stars, and the chorus of boom, boom, boom led again, by Jade!
