Gabriel Cowley had quite a summer! Not only has he gained his Silver Wings but also he discovered that he had been awarded eight A* grades and two As in his GCSE examinations.

Gabriel, a member of the RAF Section of Repton's CCF, won a prestigeous gliding scholarship, which he completed over a two-week period at RAF Syerston in July. In order to gain the "Silver Wings", Gabriel had to complete a solo flight, having gained hours of experience under the close supervision of the course staff prior to this final feat.
In Lists on the first day of the Michaelmas Term, the headmaster announced that Gabriel had been nominated as a scholar of the school in recognition of his stellar performance at GCSE level. With such a firm foundation upon which to build, we have sky-high expectations of what Gabriel can go on to achieve as he continues his studies in the Sixth Form.
