The Priory won the Senior House Match football trophy, beating Latham 2-0 in atrocious conditions on The Square to bring the silverware back to the house for the fifth time in the last ten years. A poacher's finish from Andrew Jopson, following excellent work by T.J.Cole, was followed by a great strike from the edge of the box by Doug Redfern to clinch the match. The defence was superbly marshalled by the captain, Callum Elliott, and the midfield run by the tireless Joe Humphreys, restricting Latham to very few efforts on goal. It was a superlative team effort. Mention should be made too of Oli West and Henry Eldred, two of the senior players, who were unfortunately injured for the final but without whom it is doubtful the house would have enjoyed such a memorable day.

Team: Elliott (capt), Redfern, Humphreys, Jopson, Martin, Ramsay, Chapman, Leese, Lloyd, Cole, Benc, Bell, Carver, Sanders and Leaver
