Examination Results 2011
We were once again delighted with the results achieved in external examinations by our pupils in 2011.
The 2011 A Level result achieved by our Upper Sixth were our best ever - more than a quarter of entries (28%) achieved an A* grade, almost two-thirds of entries (65%) achieved either an A* or an A grade and 84% were graded A*, A or B. Fifty seven pupils achieved straight grades at A* or A.
At GCSE, over a third of O-Block entries (34%) were awarded an A*, and five pupils received straight A*s in all of their subjects. Well over half of O-Block entries (63%) achieved either an A* or A grade.
In addition to the O-Block students who achieved these results, a number of A-Block candidates took Mathematics or French a year early. Once again these A-Block pupils achieved excellent results in 2011, with an impressive 86% of these entries achieving an A* grade.
These headline figures show Repton continues to achieve first class results throughout the pupil body, and across the wide range of subjects studied.
