Gallery No 1 is currently displaying the exhibition ‘ En Plein Air’, a combination of works by Director of Art Jeremy Bournon and photography enthusiast, Senior Master, Adrian Mylward.
On Monday 7th December at 6.30pm all are welcome to join Jeremy and Adrian for an informal gathering in Gallery No 1 and to enjoy a glass of wine whilst viewing their work.
The idea for a joint exhibition was born when it was realised that both had separately spent time in the summer in the ‘Alpes Maritimes’ of France working on their particular disciplines; Jeremy’s painting and pastel pieces of the French landscapes and Adrian’s photography of the natural world.
Some examples of pieces currently on display;

Studies in oil paints and oil pastels, inspired by the shadow cast across the landscape by the Millau Viaduct.

King of the Alps, a photograph by Adrian Mylward taken after an ascent to ‘Pas de l’Arpette’ at 2600m.
Mandarin Duck, captured in Allestree by Adrian Mylward.
