Head of Keyboard

The School is looking to appoint an exceptional musician and teacher to take up the post of Head of Keyboard from August 2016.  Keyboard-playing has been superbly led by Mr Luis Parés since 2011 and is flourishing in terms of both quality and depth: within the last year three pupils have gained their ABRSM Diploma and there is a challenging and ambitious programme of concert repertoire.

Temporary Teacher of French and/or German

Repton School is looking to appoint an inspirational person to teach French and/or German for a temporary maternity cover from October 2016. Although the preference is for a candidate who can offer both languages, applications from candidates who can only offer one language would also be welcomed.

Head of Singing

We are looking to appoint a talented musician and teacher to take up the post of Head of Singing from August 2016.  Singing is extremely strong in the School at present and pupils enjoy the opportunity to perform a wide range of styles and genres. Singers feature prominently in our concert programme.  The traditions of choral and ensemble singing are equally vigorous at Repton and individuals regularly attend the Eton choral courses and gain places in the National Youth Choir and scholarships to Oxford, Cambridge and other universities.

Support Staff Vacancies

 

Groundsperson/Mechanic

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Grounds and Gardens team. This is a full time, all-year-round role and duties include all aspects of maintaining our 50 acre grounds, in addition to the cricket squares, sand and water-based artificial turf, football and rugby pitches, tractor driving and operating related machinery. Experience in maintaining a variety of grounds equipment is highly desirable. For this physically demanding position, a full driving licence and previous experience within a similar role is essential and relevant grounds maintenance/sports pitch qualifications are advantageous.
