Teacher of Geography

The School is looking to appoint an inspirational man or woman to teach in its Geography department from January 2017. The successful candidate will be expected to enhance the profile and enjoyment of Geography amongst both those who take the subject and the wider School community. He or she will place a particular importance on achieving the best possible results in external examinations and maximising the potential of each student in the subject. The successful candidate should be confident teaching both Physical and Human Geography to A-level.

Temporary Graduate Sports Assistant

Repton School wishes to appoint for November 2016 a Graduate Sports Assistant with the energy and enthusiasm to strengthen a dynamic and forward-thinking department.  The successful candidate will be expected to show a passion for sport and have the ability to inspire young people.   He/she will also be able to coach our young performers and extend their knowledge through his/her general understanding of sport and likely expertise in both or at least one of hockey and netball. This will be a temporary position to cover maternity leave and is likely to be for 1.5 terms only.

Support Staff Vacancies

ESTATES BURSAR

The School estate includes buildings and grounds worth in excess of £100m.  Many of the buildings are listed.  More than £15m has been spent on new builds and major refurbishment projects in the last 5 years, and there are plans to invest a similar amount in the next 5 years.

The successful candidate will possess professional qualifications in an appropriate discipline and is likely to be a chartered member of a relevant professional body.  Whilst technical ability is essential, personal qualities such as drive, enthusiasm, energy, capacity for hard work, resourcefulness and good leadership and communication skills are just as important.  It is unlikely that anyone will be considered who has less than 5 years’ experience in an estates or facilities management or construction industry management role.
