Ellie Green – outstanding year as Captain of Girls’ Hockey!

Ellie Green (U6M) finishes her five years of Repton hockey with an impressive term of competitive hockey - becoming both an indoor and outdoor National U18 champion, having led the team as Captain superbly this term and last. Her leadership and skill was highlighted by the Headmaster in both his end of term speech to the school in Lists and his end of term letter. He commented on the example Ellie has set “leading by example and letting her performances on the pitch do the talking”. Having played hockey for Repton throughout her school career we are delighted for Ellie that she has finished the year with both titles to add to the three she already has from across the last five years, including one as an U16 National indoor champion.

She has been a real inspiration to many of the girls in the House, and has shown exceptional leadership of the team as well as playing measured and talented hockey. Significantly, her own team has voted her as player of the year and we are delighted to be able to share in her success.
