Eleanor Tyler’s platoon win Barnes squad!

Head of CCF, Eleanor Tyler U6M, led her platoon to victory in the Barnes competition squad competition today. It is wonderful to see her leading with such distinction, and it is no surprise that under her excellent leadership the platoon came 1st overall. It was lovely to see Elizabeth Brighouse 4M as part of the winning platoon, showing her exceptional skills in the navigational test.

The runners up in the competition were Platoon 2, containing no less than three Mitre girls. Rosie Cordingley did superbly in the leadership command task, leading the platoon with skill and quick wit. Bethan Lewis was excellent in the weapons handling test, and also in the pool task in which she came in at the head of her group. Emily Welsh excelled in aircraft recognition, and added to the essential points for this team.

All the Mitre girls had a superb afternoon, and would like to thank the CCF for organising such a fun and challenging afternoon of activities.
