My stay at Repton UK was a lot of fun. It was my first boarding experience and it is likely that I will never forget it. I’ve loved it so much that I’m hoping to come here for Sixth Form, once I get over the miniscule obstacle that is my parents. :D
I stayed in Garden for my two week visit of Repton UK and it was great as I got to become better friends with Grace, my partner and meet and become friends with the majority of the 60 girls housed there. They were all so welcoming and I felt comfortable in no time with the additional welcome of Mr and Mrs Mitchell and they’re ADORABLE dog Daisy, who is a Cocker Spaniel, my favourite breed of dogs. :D
In my 2 weeks stay, we visited Alton Towers, Birmingham, Nottingham, London and Stratford. Alton Towers was a fun filled day for a roller coaster enthusiast like me but I think I tired the rest of the group as they had to run to catch up with my fast rate of walking to all the roller coasters and I managed to go on all the thrill rides! London, my absolutely favourite place in UK (Second to Repton though :D ) was a really pleasant day as well. Stratford was just beautiful with all its Shakespearean history.
To state my favourite thing about the trip is probably too hard a task for me to cope with and as for the worst part, I don’t think I can come up with anything!
One minor glitch of the trip, the amount of prep I was getting from back home and the teachers here!
Well, I better stop here or I might end up writing a novel.
Thank you EVERYONE! Especially the Mitchells and Mr.Clark and the rest of the people involved in the Exchange. Thank you also for adding this into my future university application which will be very outstanding now! (Joking) :D
Thanks again.
