Friday night’s Careers Forum marked the start of the post AS exam programme, which has been devised to encourage lower-sixth pupils to think about life beyond The Arch. The programme also includes the Gap Fair, on Tuesday 15th June, the Sixth-form Conference, which runs from Wednesday 16th June to Saturday 19th June and, finally, a talk on applying to university.
As part of the Careers Forum, pupils were treated to talks from parents, Old Reptonians and friends of the school, covering a range of professions that included Accountancy, Architecture, the Armed Forces, Construction and Property Development, Engineering, Finance, Law, Management, Media and Journalism, Medicine, Physiotherapy and Product Marketing.
After the event, pupils mixed with visiting speakers in The Garth where they were able to speak to the visiting delegates and ask more questions.
