Result: W 1-0

Match Report:

Due to unforeseen circumstances on the way to Denston, we were considerably delayed on the coach, which restricted our playing time to one half of fifteen and another of ten minutes.

Repton pressed early from the start using the width, with Prutton and Chandler leading the attack. Carlile as usual in the centre forward role found plenty of space playing high and also positioned himself well in the D. On several occasions Carlile could have tallied up 3 or 4 goals to his name; however this wasn’t to be with the Denston goalkeeper making some excellent saves.

At half time the score was still 0-0, however it didn’t take long for Carlile to direct one of his shots past the keeper and into the back corner from a Chandler cross.

As with short games its sometimes easy for the score line to go either way, however Cole Hugill and Variava ensured that Repton pressed for just about the whole match and finished one nil up.
