Result: Lost 6-0

 Match Report: The final scoreline is rather disappointing and, perhaps, a little misleading. Nevertheless, Trent thoroughly deserved their win and they were undoubtedly the better team. Repton were competitive for long spells of the match and certainly battled hard to secure an even amount of possession. Unfortunately, Trent were far more clinical in the final third of the pitch and individual errors by Repton players resulted in three very avoidable goals. Looking ahead, Repton need to eliminate those momentary lapses in concentration and effort that gave Trent the opportunity to open up our defence.

There were many individual performances worthy of recognition: Luke Croson, Ben Chapman and Jonathan Rowles were all excellent in defence, whilst Josh Noakes, Dom Chaffey and Mikey Thomas played extremely well further up the pitch. Rob Taylor played with encouraging maturity too and it will be interesting to see how his hockey progresses this term.
