Match Report:

This was a disappointing exit from the County Cup, because although Murray Park were a good side, with a couple of exceptional players, we did not play nearly as well as we can, and so did not even compete - as the scoreline suggests.

Passing was errant; intelligent movement was rare; communication seemed lacking. We were 11 (plus subs) individuals, rather than a team. True, we had some bad luck - injuries to Sunner and Croson, and a strong wind that always seemed to be blowing in our opponents' favour - but the culprits for the defeat were ourselves.
