This is one of the first fixtures in the calendar and some of the boys looked a little tentative early on. However as the match progressed their confidence grew and some excellent tennis was played. It was a shame that after such a marathon match we could not have won it but with tennis at this level errors can cost you dearly. If we can find greater consistency and make fewer unforced errors then I know this team will start to win matches. Well done to everyone who took part. PVG
