Match Report:
Repton crashed out of the ESFA Cup at the hands of a very strong Bishop Challoner side, although the scoreline was not representative of the performance. Repton started much the brighter side and hit the post early on, after Hughes broke clear of the Challnor defence. That luck was against Repton was summed up as the ball hit the inside of the past and bounced into the keepers arms. Repton continued to press but were hit on the counterattack by two Bishop Challoner goals before halftime. The second half saw Repton again start the brighter, but they still could not find the net. A Fenton free kick hit the insider of the angle between bar and post before coming out hitting the back of the keeper and going for an corner. It seemed that it would not be Repton's day and this was confirmed as Bishop Challenor scored two more breakaway goals before Repton grabbed a late consolation.
