Match Report: Repton secured passage to the last eight of the ISFA Cup with a three goal win over a strong King's Chester side. In tough conditions, Repton had to soak up pressure in the first half as the visitors aimed to take advantage of the strong wind at their back. However, they could not prevent Hughes from breaking through their defence to put Repton one goal up. It was nearly two before half-time when a strong tackle by Fenton saw the ball fly towards the Chester goal only for the keeper to stop it on the line. In the second half Repton were well on top and the visitors struggled to break out of their half. Two goals from Fenton saw Repton ease home and start planning for the quaterfinals.
