Match Report:

Repton booked a place in the final of the Rensburg-Shepherd U15 ISFA Cup with a victory on penalties over Shrewsbury. In a tense encounter, Shrewsbury started the better and dominated the opening exchanges, which saw Lane produce several outstanding tackles to ensure that Repton did not concede. However, as the game continued Repton began to take control and opened the scoring five minutes from half-time as Tuffy latched on to a through ball and put his shot beyond the keeper. Shrewsbury hit straight back as a mix up in the Repton defence allowed their striker to round Congiu and calmly place the ball into an empty. This was to prove the last of the goals, but Repton dominated the second half and extra time carving out numerous chances but failing to find the net with Tuffy, Hughes and Fenton all seeing chances sail wide.

With the scores level after extra time the result came down to penalties. Both sides converted their opening three spot kicks, but Repton gained the advantage when Shrewsbury missed their fourth and Repton scored. This left Shrewsbury needing to score to stay in the competition, but Congiu denied them diving low to his left to keep the penalty out and send Repton through the final.
