Result: Won by 17 runs
Repton 150-6, Wellinborough 133.
Match Report: A good win for the 14b side. Ed Ballantyne Rowland top scored with a positive 54, with good support from Sanders and Morris. Wellingborough started their innings very brightly and had 60 off 10 overs before a run out and then Astin started the movement in the wicket column. Despite some positive and technically sound batting from Wellingborough, Repto took wickets at regualr intervals and Dymock, Morris and Readman finished the job, with Morris bowling the match winning spell.
This team of inexperienced cricketers should have learned much form todays performance. Most notably the discipline required when in a fielding position and the understanding of setting a field to the situation you are in. They will need to draw on this experience as they take on Oakham next week.
