Match Report:

In its second outing of the term the U14 B team blooded some new players, who without exception made very genuine contributions to the match. A decent squad is now forming with some strength in depth and good positional felxibility.

Maybe with the A team spectating there was an incentive to perform and all credit to the team, perform they did. Some good running, great positioning and intelligent passing produced some creative and exciting hockey. Ryan Binns was everywhere and scored a hat-trick in the first half. Jason Taft took his first goal with real flair and we approached half time without our 'D' being invaded once.

Something changed in the second half with Solihull, and they stormed straight into attack and for the first time put us under pressure. The defence handled it well and gradually the team re-asserted its authority. Another goal from Jason Taft concluded proceedings with a very well-deserved 5 - 0 victory the outcome.
