Match Report:

I thought this performance was the most pleasing of the season so far. In the first half, in particular, Repton passed the ball really well and, although Lee had to make some decent saves occasionally throughout the match, it never looked as though we could lose this game. I was delighted by the way the back four switched the ball and a sign of how well they did this was that Jack Sanders and Will Buckley at right and left back respectively were on the ball as much as anybody on the pitch. In the absence of Robbie Astin at centre-forward, Ryan Binns stepped in and continued to show signs of improvement. Although new to the game he is quickly learning the skills required and, in fact, scored the opening goal. The other two goals were scored by the very impressive James Shires who tormented the Worksop defence all game. There is still much to do before the Midlands finals but this team is making fine progress.
