Match Report: How this game finished 0 – 0, I’ll never know! Had it not been for the heroics of the two goalkeepers it might have finished 4 – 4, although the game was no less entertaining for the lack of goals. Repton started the match positively and created several early chances but an inability to consistently hit the ball along the floor and with accuracy resulted in them being wasted. Aaran Hibell distributed the ball to both sides of the pitch expertly, allowing Jason Taft and Ryan Binns to have a run at their defenders and Robbie Astin, back from injury, looked lively and carried the ball well into space. Oakham improved as the game went on and the second half was a high energy game with both teams looking capable of snatching a win. However, on this occasion I would have to agree with the old cliché that it would have been a shame had either side lost the match. SJC
