Match Report:
Repton began brightly but did not manage to convert early chances and paid the penalty as Newman took the lead after hesitation in the home defence. Ballantyne equalised at the back post and scored a fine second early in the second half after a long kick from Astin, this after Newman had gone in 2-1 up at half-time. He went on to add two more with composed finishes after the strong wind caused problems for the visitors. Sunner added a fifth with a close-range header to make the last few minutes more comfortable. The wind was a key factor on a firm early season pitch and Repton were fortunate to have it at their backs in the second period, allowing them to go forward to the next round.
