Match Report: This was another enjoyable fixture between two evenly matched sides. Repton began brightly with Butters slotting in impressively at left-back and Murrall coming into the attack. It was Murrall who opened the scoring with a smart finish after good work from Kumeta. Croft added a fine second from the right side of the circle but Rugby responded well and lashed in before the interval to make it 2-1. The second period was end-to-end and it was Croft who reacted sharply to finish in a crowded D. Rugby created some good chances and were kept at bay by some good goalkeeping from Jopson and a fine defensive display from Swann. The pressure finally told and the home side had to hang on in the last five minutes for a creditable victory. It is pleasing to note that the match was played in an exemplary spirit with great camaraderie between the two sides.
