Result: Won 3-0

Match Report:

   Repton produced a fine attacking display in icy conditions with Twidle, Cosford and Willcox creating many chances in the early stages. As with the first game against Trent, poor finishing meant that we only had two goals to show for a dominant opening period. The first from Twidle sneaked in at the near post after he got himself into a good position in the right side of the D. Cosford buried the second after Kimbolton failed to deal with one of several short corners. Kimbolton responded well after the break and worked very hard to close us down. Repton lost a little width as the half went on and the shape of the team suffered. A fine lifted finish by Twidle threatened to open the floodgates but Kimbolton defended with great commitment to keep the score to 0-3 in what was a competitive and enjoyable game with a great spirit between the two sets of players.
