Result: Won 8-0

Match Report: A successful and enjoyable season ended on a high note with a convincing victory. The opening period was very even and Repton had to work hard for the first goal which eventually arrived after good work by the season's best player, Kumeta. Cosford, after a couple of sighters, found his range and was at the heart of the four goals added before half-time, a period during which we played some excellent hockey. Cosford is a talented player who can finish powerfully on either side and his combination play with the attacking quartet of Croft, Kumeta, Fung and Willcox proved too much for the Dean Close defenders to handle. Our hockey did not reach the same heights in the second period but three goals were added, two of them from short corners.
